Spent my recent birthday and valentines in paradise island in Bantayan Cebu. Much better in Boracay I must say. Less touristy and much breathtaking. Getting there is a 3hour bus and another 1hr ferry ride. Really worth the trip albeit the long hours. There are lots of cheap resort for short stay. We haven’t tries island hopping to Virgin and Malcapuya Island, heard that its almost same like the Bantayan island. We stayed for only 2 nights. Its is highly recommended to arrive in Cebu early in the morning as you would able to take the last trip of ferry at 5pm.
The beach has the pristine and clear waters, you would just enjoy the whole island by yourself as there are no flocking tourist nearby. Will definitely going back to Cebu for Oslob trip.
